Lift AI predicts the buyer intent of every single visitor on a website, assigning each visitor a "buyer intent score" which you can use to create playbooks in Drift.
For example, you might create a playbook in Drift that is triggered when a visitor has a high buyer intent score, which connects the visitor with one of your live agents in real-time for the best chance of converting them. Similarly, you might rely on a chatbot playbook for low scoring visitors.
You can choose to update an existing playbook with Lift AI scores, or create an entirely new playbook designed specifically for these visitor segments.
1. Creating a new playbook
a. Click Create a New Playbook and pick the type of playbook you want to create.
b. Select the pages you want to present this playbook on.
When using Intent audiences, you most often will want to present this playbook to all visitors that meet the intent criteria regardless of the page they are on. So you can simply click next to bi-pass the page(s) selection.
c. Select the Type of conversation that you want to have with this audience
Select build a bot from scratch from the types of conversations and hit next. This way you can design exactly the right experience for your audience.
d. Name your playbook
Make sure to use a naming convention that will make it clear what audience you are targeting and where. Then click create playbook.
e. Configure the targeting conditions
From the targeting conditions menu, select cookie:
Use the operator "IS":
Then enter the cookie name and value in the following format
[ vs_conv_ai ] is the cookie name [ = ] is the operator and [60-64 ] is the score range value you will want to use.
Enter all the score ranges that meet the criteria for the audience that you want to target. See (PAGE NAME] for a full list of the scores.
Once you have entered all the score ranges, you can also apply other target conditions necessary for your business such as the visitors country, pages, firmographics or anything else that you feel is important to refine your target audience.
Here is a list of score ranges that can be used for targeting with Lift AI. These ranges represent the visitors potential to convert on a scale of 1 to 100. A visitor with a score of 95-100 has the highest intent with their specific score falling between 95 and 100.
